ICT20115 Certificate II in Information, Digital Media & Technology

Runs for approx. 30-40 weeks


This course is designed to help students gain the skills necessary for entry into the workforce in many industries or as a stepping stone to further study. Students will learn to work effectively in an IT environment, exploring a variety of computer applications and workplace safety procedures.

Qualification & Recognition:

On completion of this course students are eligible to receive the nationally endorsed Certificate II in Information, Digital Media and Technology. This qualification provides basic digital literacy skills to support a wide range of varying industry occupations.

Recognition of Prior Learning and Credit Transfer:

Students may be able to shorten the length of their chosen course by measuring skills acquired through work, life experiences or qualifications obtained from formal studies or training. Qualifications and Statements of Attainment issued by another Registered training organisation will be recognised by SGAE.


Assessment is based on competency, which is the ability to demonstrate specific skills, and a combination of observation, discussion, written assignments, or practical applications and work related projects.

Under 20 years of age as of 1st January 2018—concession fee (must have proof of age)

This training is delivered with Victorian and Commonwealth Government funding.  The value of the funding provided by the Government is $6.50 per nominal hour.
