Beginners Computing

DATE: Wednesday 21 February - 28 March 2018

COST: $110 (6 x 3hr sessions)

This course is for new computer users and is designed to provide you with the necessary skills to perform everyday tasks confidently.

The course covers:

  • introduction to computers
  • mouse skills
  • word processing:  document creation – keyboard skills, saving, previewing, printing document enhancing – formatting, moving text, alignment, symbol, bullets, page breaks, tabs etc.
  • internet:  accessing the web, how the web works, screen features, moving between web sites, printing a page, organising your favourites folder, searching techniques etc.
  • file management
  • emails

VENUE:  SGAE  – 48 Thompson Street, Hamilton

DURATION:  6 x 3 hour sessions

Enrolment and Fees:  All enrolments must be confirmed by payment of fees.  Fees will be refunded in full if SGAE cancels a course due to insufficient numbers.  If a student cancels within 3 days of course commencing, a 10% administration fee will be charged.  No fees will be refunded once classes commence.

The student tuition fees as published are subject to change given individual circumstances at enrolment.
