Participate in Safe Food Handling Practices – Safe Food Handling Level 2
This course was developed to meet Australian food safety legal requirements nation-wide, and provide a most comprehensive understanding of Food Safety in the workplace.
Owners of registered food businesses must ensure they nominate a current Food Safety Supervisor, who has the responsibility of recognising, preventing and alleviating the hazards associated with food handling in your workplace.
In many states, businesses that do not have a Food Safety Supervisor may be risking a fine, and should comply with this requirement as soon as possible to avoid substantial penalties.
Fee for Service courses are not government funded and concession fees do not apply.
The student tuition fees as published are subject to change given individual circumstances at enrolment.
To assist prospective students to determine whether a course is suitable and appropriate for their individual needs, SGAE will assess all students’ language, literacy and numeracy and digital literacy by asking them to undertake a self-assessment review prior to enrolment.
The review provides essential information about you and your background, which then allows SGAE to understand your current capabilities prior to training and make recommendations on course suitability, and identify additional support where required.
